The exhibition took place in the heart of the Milanese art world in an industrial setting, the “Fonderia Battaglia”. The concept of the exhibition was conceived as a benevolent provocation aimed at an Italian public that insist on the notion of “beauty” in the arts. At the center of the exhibition we placed a very expensive piece of designer furniture (forme) surrounded by 45 antiforme coming mostly (but not only) from Belgium; works of art that did not have the slightest ambition to be perceived as “beautiful”.
